The GoGo’s bring classic power pop to Vina Robles
–The GoGo’s took to the stage Tuesday night at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre, ripping though a number of their hit songs. Then the group reminded everyone about their punk rock days, early in their career by playing two Germs songs, the groups name prior to being the GoGo’s.
This tour is the GoGo’s Farewell Tour. The band brought positive energy and held nothing back, smiling at the crowd and truly seeming to enjoy themselves. The crowd continuously swayed back and forth, and joined in singing along to their bigger hits, such as “Vacation,” and “We Got the Beat.”
The group not only kept the beat, but they were not missing a step either. The group performed as solid as they had in earlier years, performing songs that were written over the course of the last four decades.
The night was a fun occasion for all attendees. Overall, the GoGo’s reminded everyone just how special an all female group can be.
