Golden Oak Honey and Pumpkin Festival returns this weekend 

All ages are invited to buzz around the park and enjoy an array of family activities while exploring various demonstrations, honey tasting, a beehive observation, vendors, arts and more!

–Join-in on Paso Robles Main Street Association’s fun-filled harvest festivities at their 6th Annual Golden Oak Honey & Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Downtown City Park in Paso Robles. All ages are invited to buzz around the park and enjoy an array of family activities while exploring various demonstrations, honey tasting, a beehive observation, vendors, arts and more!

Event highlights include:

Spelling Bee Contest: Buzz by the gazebo in the park and support the local 3rd graders in a spelling bee! 1st place winners of each session receive a bicycle! Sponsored by the Paso Robles Optimist Club.

Pie Eating Contest: Get your fill of pumpkin pie! All ages are invited to enter the pie-eating contest. Five categories include: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, Youth and Adult. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each category are awarded a certificate! Sponsored by Food Jet.

Pumpkin Patch: Catch a few festive family pictures in the pumpkin patch. Sponsored by River K Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze.

“Queen for a Day” Essay Contest—Award Announcement: Support our local high-school grade level contestants that have been pre-event entered and judged in an essay contest. Winner will be announced with an awarded honorary gift. Sponsored by Siegel’s Jewelry.

Buzz Buzz Mini Golf Tournament and Food Drive: It’s a buzzin’ opportunity to support a wonderful cause while playing some mini-golf. Help by raising awareness and donating food items to help local Paso Robles families in need. The tournament is 9 -11 a.m. and public open play is at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Golf events support Kiwanis Club of Paso Robles Foundation. Food drive benefits Loaves and Fishes.
