Golden State Classics Car Cruise happening this weekend

–The Golden State Car Cruise will return to Paso Robles this weekend. There will be pre-1979 classic cars cruising Friday night and showing in the park on Saturday. Participants are invited to tour our city’s entertainment spots on Sunday. They are expecting over 300 cars for this event. Net proceeds will go to local charities.

The Paso Robles Police Department would like to remind the community to plan for the following street closures on Friday:

• Spring Street will be closed from 6th to 23rd Streets from 3-8 p.m.
• Both 16th and 21st Streets east of Spring Street will also be impacted by cruise participant traffic from 4 until 6 p.m.

Motorists are urged to be patient, expect delays, and to pre-plan alternate routes to reach their destinations while this event is in progress.
