Grading ordinance committee meets
Group formed to review alternatives to grading restrictions
–On Wednesday evening, Jan. 27, the Paso Robles Grading Ordinance Advisory Committee met to continue their review of the single-family residential grading regulations.
The committee was formed last year by the Paso Robles City Council to review alternatives to the current restriction against mass grading of subdivision tracts. The committee received a demonstration of a 3-D terrain modeling system that creates visual simulations of proposed subdivision grading. The committee also reviewed a draft revision of the grading ordinance.
The committee is working toward having a final draft ordinance complete by the end of February. The next meeting is Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. in the Paso Robles City Council chambers.
