Grassfire burns in Templeton
Templeton firefighters extinguished a grass fire in Templeton between Main Street and the railroad tracks near the skate park. The fire broke out around 5:45 p.m. The Templeton Fire Department sent crews in three trucks and had it under control very quickly. The blaze scorched about five acres and produced a lot of smoke because of the wind.
