Gregg Wangard new school district director of food services

Local chef Gregg Wangard was recently hired as the new Paso Robles Public Schools director of food services.
Wangard has over 20 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry. He began to cook professionally at the age of 15, and from there he mastered his cooking techniques as a chef for various resorts, including the Cliff’s Resort in Shell Beach where he developed relationships with many vendors on the Central Coast.
He has also made appearances on KCOY to help bring awareness to our fresh local food products. Wangard and his wife, Kelly, live in Paso Robles with their two children who attend Georgia Brown Elementary School.
