Groundbreaking planned for North County Cuesta Early Childhood Education Center 

–Cuesta College invites the public to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Measure-L funded R & B Shultz Early Childhood Education (ECE) Center at the North County Campus in Paso Robles. The event will be held at 3 p.m. this Friday, Feb. 1 and will include a brief program, light refreshments, and a fun activity for the children enrolled at the current ECE Center. Reservations are not required. Complimentary parking will be available.

The 10,935 square foot, one-story building will provide dedicated teaching spaces related to early childhood education as well as two levels of childcare services (toddler and preschool). It will also include faculty offices and additional parking.

Measure L is a general obligation bond, in the amount of $275M, passed in November 2014 by the voters of San Luis Obispo County. Additional information on the bond and updates on the ECE Center can be found on the Measure L website at cuestacollegebond.info.
