Groundwater basin open house is June 10
The Outreach and Education Subcommittee of the Paso Basin Advisory Committee will be hosting a special open house that will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Paso Robles Basin. The event is sponsored by the San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.
The event will be hosted on Wednesday, June 10, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Estrella Warbirds Museum, at 4251 Dry Creek Rd, in Paso Robles. Light refreshments will be provided
Open house opportunities:
• Hear an overview of six public Paso basin efforts and how the efforts fit together
• Obtain information about how to learn more and participate in each effort
• Ask county and state employees questions one on one
Event Overview:
• Opening remarks/overview presentation 5:30 to 6:30
• Outreach and education subcommittee welcome remarks
• Paso basin efforts overview presentation (county employees)
• Additional welcome remarks from San Luis Obispo Board of Supervisors Chair Debbie Arnold, District 1 Supervisor Frank Mecham, and Paso Basin Advisory Committee Chair Sue Luft.
