Your guide to the San Miguel School Board Candidates 

Learn a little more about the candidates running for School Board

—This November, San Miguel Joint Union School District will be voting on school board candidates. There will be three candidates running for three seats. Shawn Angulo, Jean Hoffman, and Randy Kwiatkowski.

  • Sean Angulo is running to replace Mary Jo Del Campo, and is a 40-year-old married man with three children who attend Cappy Culver Elementary School. His background includes a master’s degree in information technology and a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Technology and security. Currently, he works as the director of Technology and CTO at King City Union School District.

 

  • Jean Hoffmann, an incumbent, is a 75-year-old retired teacher of 30 years and principal of 10 years, is running for re-election. “I have a Masters in Education from the University of San Francisco. I want to help students by recognizing their needs and expanding their goals. We are working on increasing student enrollment and providing programs to meet their needs of the students.” Hoffman shared.

 

  • Randy Kwiatkowski, running for re-election, is an incumbent. The 57-year-old man has been married for 26 years, and has four children who attended Lillian Larsen Elementary School. He is a resident of San Miguel for the past 10 years, currently working as an AT&T technician.
