Gymnasts and cheerleaders host open house 

California Gold Gymnastics and Cheerleading held its annual holiday open house Sunday at 2 p.m. Gym owner and coach Amber Davis welcomed parents and visitors to the gym.

About 35 gymnasts and cheerleaders performed exhibitions of their skills that included floor routines, team cheer routines with stunts and tumbling and individual skills like vaulting, bars, walkovers, handsprings, round-offs and tucks.

Throughout the year the student athletes compete at several events around the state from Sacramento to Palm Springs to Anaheim.
