Habitat SLO hosts Home Sweet Home brunch in Templeton
Funds to support Home Preservation and Aging in Place program
– Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County (Habitat SLO) will hold its Home Sweet Home: A Brunch to Build Futures fundraising event on Oct. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lone Madrone Winery in Templeton.
The event will raise funds for Habitat SLO’s work building and preserving affordable housing in San Luis Obispo County. Guests will be served pancakes, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and wine. The program will also include updates on Habitat SLO’s Home Preservation and Aging in Place program, which assists local seniors and families in staying safe and secure in their homes.
“Home Sweet Home is a chance to connect, give back, and be part of something bigger—helping local families and seniors live with dignity and remain safely in the homes they love,” said Dawn Smith, director of development at Habitat SLO. “Your attendance helps us serve more neighbors across our community with the stability and security they deserve.”
Tickets are $50 through Aug. 15, $60 from Aug. 16 through Oct. 24, and $70 at the door if available. Children age 10 and under can attend for free. Space is limited, and advance purchase is encouraged.
Tickets and sponsorship information are available at www.habitatslo.org/Home-Sweet-Home.
