Halter Ranch proprietor named National Geographic Philanthropist of the Year

–Halter Ranch‘s proprietor Hansjörg Wyss was recently awarded the 2019 National Geographic Philanthropist of the Year.
The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, June 12 in Washington, D.C.
According to National Geographic, “The award recognizes an individual or foundation that has demonstrated a deep commitment toward realizing a planet in balance through the generous support and engagement that are essential to activating the National Geographic Society critical initiatives.”
