Heat advisory in effect for North County
Triple-digit heat in the forecast this week for Paso Robles
– A heat advisory remains in effect from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 8 p.m. Wednesday for Paso Robles and surrounding areas.
High temperatures are expected to range from 95 to 105 degrees. The advisory covers the Cuyama Valley, San Luis Obispo County interior valleys, San Luis Obispo County mountains, Santa Lucia Mountains, and Southern Salinas Valley.
Weather Underground is predicting a high temperature of 99 degrees today, followed by 105 on Tuesday, 107 on Wednesday, and 102 on Thursday.

The National Weather Service warns that there is a high risk for heat illness among sensitive populations, including the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and individuals active outdoors.
Precautionary measures include drinking plenty of fluids, staying in an air-conditioned room, avoiding direct sunlight, and checking on relatives and neighbors.
