Heat advisory issued for Paso Robles 

heat advisory paso robles–The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a Heat Advisory, which is in effect from 10 a.m. Tuesday to 8 p.m. Thursday. Daytime high temperatures will range from 98-108 degrees. The hottest days are expected to be Tuesday and Wednesday.

The advisory level temperatures will increase the potential for serious heat-related illnesses, especially for the young and elderly population, those performing outdoor activities, as well as those without access to air conditioning. Please check on relatives, friends and neighbors that are susceptible to heat-related illnesses due to age or medical conditions. It is imperative during this advisory period to drink plenty of fluids and stay out of the sun.

Cooling Centers in Paso Robles have been identified as the Library at 1000 Spring Street (Mon.- Fri 10AM-8PM) and the Senior Center located at 270 Scott Street (Mon-Fri 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.). Please be mindful of pets and children and do not leave them unattended in vehicles.

The high temperatures will also bring an increased fire danger throughout the State. Approximately 95-percent of all Wildfires in California are human-caused.
