Heat record broken in Paso Robles 

Paso Robles beat heat records Thursday, with temperatures climbing to 95-degrees. The previous record was 94, set in 2003. according to the National Weather Service tweet, shown above.

Temperatures are expected to cool significantly next week, with highs in the low 70s expected starting Monday.
