Heat watch issued for North County starting Wednesday
Triple-digit heat expected mid-week
– An excessive heat watch is in effect for Paso Robles from Wednesday morning through Friday evening. Temperatures are expected to range from 90 to 110 degrees, with warm overnight lows offering little relief.
The heat watch covers a portion of southwest California and poses a high risk for dangerous heat-related illnesses, particularly for the very young, the elderly, those without air conditioning, and those engaged in outdoor adventure activities.

Residents are advised to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned spaces, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and check on neighbors and relatives.
