High School to honor college-bound student-athletes at signing event

Paso Robles High School class of 1983 40th reunion slated for Sept. 2

Paso Robles High School will host College Signing Day on Tuesday, May 19, at 4 p.m. in Gil Asa Gym, honoring 14 student-athletes who committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

The annual event recognizes student-athletes who will compete in college athletics while continuing their education. Organizers said the event also recognizes the support student-athletes received from coaches, teachers, teammates, families, and the Paso Robles community during high school.

“For these student-athletes, signing to compete at the collegiate level represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and commitment both academically and athletically,” Paso Robles High School Principal and Athletic Director Mike Susank said. “We are incredibly proud of the way they have represented Paso Robles High School and Bearcat Athletics. This achievement reflects their hard work, the guidance of their coaches and teachers, and the unwavering support of their families and community.”
