Highway 41 slide removal work underway
–Caltrans will remove material from recent slide activity on State Route 41 from east of Bear Ridge Road to the Atascadero Creek Bridge beginning Monday, March 26 through Friday, March 30 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control with a pilot car during this project to retrieve loose soil and rocks as a result of slide activity due to the recent storms.
Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 20 minutes.
Electronic message boards will be posted to inform the public about this roadwork. This project is being performed by the Caltrans Maintenance team from Templeton.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down while driving through highway construction zones.
