Hillary Trout appointed general manager of Pasolivo
Pasolivo, a local purveyor of California extra virgin olive oil, premium specialty foods and bath & body products, this week announced the appointment of Hillary Trout as general manager. In her new role, Trout will work with Pasolivo proprietor, Brian Dirk, to continue to develop Pasolivo’s vision of bringing the highest quality standards of products and service to their customers and visitors.
Trout will lead Pasolivo as it continues to meet a variety of growth objectives and changes established when the company underwent new ownership in November of 2012. The ongoing growth plans include the continued development of a full line of specialty food and bath & beauty products; establishing an exclusive corporate gift club to extend Pasolivo’s high quality products throughout the professional sectors; redefining Pasolivo’s online strategy; as well as continuing the construction and renovation of a new tasting room, event space, and vacation destination to provide guests a tranquil and magical experience of staying on a family owned olive ranch in the sweeping scenery of Paso Robles.

Trout has been working in the wine industry for much of her professional career, starting out as a CPA specializing in business advisory services for vineyards and wineries. She has served as president of San Miguel-based Villa San-Juliette Vineyard & Winery and recently as chief operating officer of Broken Earth Winery. Trout has a diverse management background that includes general management, financial management, and growing direct-to-consumer and trade business segments. She has earned a myriad of professional achievement awards which include: Central Coast Tri-Counties Top 40 Under 40, San Luis Obispo’s Top 20 Under 40, CalCPA “Women to Watch” and “Who’s Who in Civic and Education Leadership”.
