Historical Society announces new display 

The Carnegie Library in downtown Paso Robles.

–The Paso Robles Historical Society is pleased to present a new display titled, “Time and The Tide,” at the Carnegie Library, located in the Paso Robles City Park.

The exhibit is a detailed timeline of one Salinan family and their way of live in the central California villages of San Simeon and Jolon and has been made possible by the Salinan Tribe of Monterey and San Luis Obispo Counties.

The exhibit highlights the lineage of Agueda Agata, a Salinan woman born in 1673 and traces her family history from 1542 to present day. In addition to family/local history, the exhibit includes Salinan artifacts and handcrafted items made by some of Agata’s descendants and other Salinan Tribal members.

El Paso de Robles Area Historical Society is open every day except Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at 800 12th St, in Paso Robles.
