Holiday Inn Express & Suites completes multi-million dollar renovation
Renovation includes modern-rustic design, high-tech updates
–The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Paso Robles recently announced the completion of their 2.6 million dollar interior and exterior property renovation project.
The mission of the project was to present a refreshed and modern look to the property and provide even more of the conveniences their guests have come to appreciate and expect, thus enhancing the overall guest experience.
The breakfast room, where the complimentary buffet style breakfast is served, received a modern makeover as well with new booth style tables and cushioned seating. A new market was added in the lobby for that extra level of convenience and a brand new outdoor patio was also added complete with a fire pit and plenty of comfortable seating for enjoying the sunny days and evening breezes Paso Robles has to offer. It allows their guests an outdoor space to relax and enjoy its evening complimentary hospitality beer and wine reception the hotel offers Monday through Thursday.
The project began in 2014 with the design and planning and was completed in April 2016. The demolition and construction was staggered throughout 2015 and Q1 of 2016 in order to continue to accommodate their guests with as minimal an impact as possible. “The 2 year project was well worth the wait,” said Audrey Arellano, Director of Sales and Marketing of the property. “I have already been told by our guests and experienced travelers that we have exceeded their expectations and are by far the best Holiday Inn Express they have ever been to. I have to say this renovation has even exceeded my expectations and I knew going in that it was going
to be amazing!”
Along with a major exterior facelift, including modern stone accents, a new dual automatic door entrance, and lush landscaping, renovations were made throughout including the lobby, pool, 24-hr business center, and 24-hour fitness center, which was enlarged to almost three times its previous size.
The property is now boasting two different meeting spaces. The main meeting room is 1150 square feet and is perfect for conferences, meetings, trainings, and family or corporate gatherings. The new additional meeting space is perfect for that smaller board style meeting. Both spaces are equipped with wireless internet connection and offer projector and screens for those power point presentations.
“We are thrilled with the finished product of our remodel.” said owners, Shawn and Marian Styler. “Our vision was to bring a modern rustic flare to our design while keeping the Paso Robles charm incorporated throughout the decor. The feedback we are getting from our guests has been extremely positive and we are proud to offer all the latest technology so many travelers need these days.”
Each of the 91 appointed guest rooms of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites were gutted and remodeled from the ground up reflecting the same rustic modern look of the rest of the property. From the new rustic wood tile floors, to the modern chic furnishings and decor, the new rooms are anything but standard. They are complete with a microwave, refrigerator, new in-room Keurig coffee makers, pillow-top dream beds, mobile working desks, and complimentary wired and wireless high speed internet connection with accessible ports throughout, giving their guests all of the comfort and conveniences of home.
John Arnold, the general manager of the hotel said, “It’s very exciting for us to have such a wonderful hotel to offer our guests. I have always believed in our brand and I have always believed in our team, but this remodel gave us that much needed boost and excitement to carry the momentum to the top. It may sound cliché, but trust me when I tell you that ‘Everyday’s a Holiday!'”
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites welcomes guests, both established and new, to come and experience the exciting new changes they have made and enjoy the refined facility.
