Home energy upgrade presentation at Heritage Ranch
EmPower San Luis Obispo County invites the public to a free dinner presentation in Heritage Ranch to learn how the emPower program can help improve their home’s energy efficiency, comfort and indoor air quality. The workshop takes place on March 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 4870 Heritage Road in Paso Robles.

“Things like air leaks and insulation are out of sight, out of mind but they contribute in a big way to a home’s comfort and energy efficiency,” said Menconi. “Sealing a home’s envelop and making sure it’s properly insulated means that you’ll use your heater and air conditioner less and it will use less energy when you do use it.”
The event will also provide information on how emPower can help connect homeowners to qualified local contractors for home energy audits and recommendations on fixing common issues like old or broken furnaces, ducts, windows and insulation. These upgrades improve home comfort and indoor air quality while helping to lower utility bills and save energy.
Attendees will also learn about available utility incentives that can exceed $6,500 and low-interest, unsecured financing that starts at 5.9 percent. Local qualified contractors involved in the emPower Program will also be on hand to answer questions or talk with attendees one-on-one after the presentation.
The event is open to the public and includes dinner. For more information, contact emPower San Luis Obispo County at (805) 781-5982 or empower@co.slo.ca.us. To RSVP, visit http://www.empowersbc.org/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=98.
