Housing Authority accepting applications for board positions
– The Paso Robles Housing Authority is accepting applications for the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners through Jan. 30.
The Paso Robles Housing Authority is a public entity formed out of the City of Paso Robles in 1942. The agency operates under California housing authority laws and is regulated under the California Health and Safety Code. A seven-member board oversees the authority, including two tenant commissioners, one of whom must be a tenant over age 62.
Board members represent a range of backgrounds and experience in development, community service, education, banking, and business.
The board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m. at 901 30th St. in Paso Robles.
Appointments are four-year terms beginning March 1 and expiring Feb. 28, 2030. Two commissioner vacancies are currently available.
Interviews are tentatively scheduled for Feb. 11 in the evening and will be held in person in Paso Robles.
