Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge to perform in Paso Robles

Rock icons reunite for 2025 co-headline tour
– Grammy Award-winning folk-rock duo Indigo Girls and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Melissa Etheridge will perform at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, Calif., on Aug. 7, 2025, as part of their “Yes We Are” Co-Headline Tour.
The two artists, who have previously toured together to great acclaim, are joining forces again after a successful run in the summer of 2024. The upcoming tour will feature over 30 stops across the United States, including cities such as Chicago, Kansas City, Detroit, and Phoenix. The tour will begin on July 25 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., and will run through Oct. 12, concluding at the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix.
Indigo Girls, comprised of Emily Saliers and Amy Ray, have been a significant presence in the folk-rock scene for over four decades. Their music has resonated with audiences around the world, with hits like “Closer to Fine” and “Kid Fears” from their self-titled debut album.
The duo’s activism is also a key element of their identity, advocating for issues such as racial justice, LGBTQ rights, and reproductive rights. Their most recent album, Look Long, was released in 2020, and their documentary, Indigo Girls: It’s Only Life After All, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023.
Melissa Etheridge, known for her raspy vocals and confessional lyrics, made her breakthrough in 1988 with her self-titled debut album. She achieved widespread success in the 1990s with hits like “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” for which she won Grammy Awards. Etheridge’s career spans multiple decades, including victories in the 2007 Academy Awards for Best Song and recent documentary and live album projects, including Melissa Etheridge: I’m Not Broken, released in 2024.
Tickets for the Paso Robles show will be available starting Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Artist pre-sales for both Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge will begin on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. local time and run until Dec. 11 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
