Injured hiker rescued from Cerro San Luis Peak
– Firefighters responded to a medical rescue involving an injured hiker near Cerro San Luis Peak in San Luis Obispo.
The California Department of Forestry and Cal Fire reported the incident on social media.
Responders transported the patient down the hill using a utility terrain vehicle provided by the San Luis Obispo City Fire Department.
In a final update, officials reported that all units were released after the patient was transported to the hospital via ground ambulance:
