It’s third year in a row for Inc. magazine honor

IQMS ranks at No. 3,230

Paso Robles software manufacturer IQMS, made Inc. magazine’s 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America for the third year in a row. Ranking at No. 3,230, more than 600 spots higher than last year, this three-peat performance places IQMS in rarefied company.

“Make no mistake: The Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in its history … [with] results most companies could only dream of in the economy of the past three years,” said Eric Schurenberg, Inc. magazine editor in chief, in a congratulatory letter to the Inc. winners. “IQMS is in some pretty impressive company – which is exactly where it belongs.”

Inc. magazine based its 2013 list rankings on percentage annual growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. According to Inc., traditionally nearly all repeat Inc. 5000 winners move down the list over time. IQMS has bucked that declining trend and moved up the list again for the third year in a row with its three-year organic growth rate of 100.21 percent.

The secret separating IQMS from its competitors and delivering consecutive placement on the Inc. 5000 list can be attributed to three critical areas according to a company press release: The first is a constant effort to offer a complete, all-in-one ERP and MES solution with only the best tools and features throughout every aspect of the software. The second is an unparalleled ability to offer manufacturers detailed, accurate control of their shop floor and the last is a deep-rooted company philosophy of continuously adding value to the software solution based on customer-driven development.

“We are so proud to be part of the Inc. class of 2013. Our overall focus on supporting customer-driven development, shop floor control and developing a comprehensive solution has enabled us to experience a three-year organic growth rate and placed us higher on the list than last year, securing our status as an elite Inc. alumnus,” said Randy Flamm, president at IQMS. “Looking forward, the first half of 2013 has delivered strong growth for our company, both internally and externally, positioning us to be a healthy competitor again next year for placement on Inc.’s prestigious list.”
