Established in 1999 as a non-profit land trust, the Cayucos Land Conservancy (CLC) is committed to the enduring preservation of the rural greenbelt that surrounds the coastal town of Cayucos, California. Preserving coastal bluffs and rolling hillsides with their many natural and scenic resources for future generations is the land conservancy’s primary goal. CLC is on a multi-million dollar fundraising campaign to purchase more of the hillside parcel/lots outside the urban service line (CLC owns 20% or 345 parcels of the paper lots bordering the east side of town) and to help fund the purchase of the southern boundary’s Chevron Property which includes “Dog Beach.”
