Jacque Egger and Catherine Burgard featured library artists for September
–The Paso Robles City Library invites the public to the September displays of Jacque Egger and Catherine Burgard. Egger is a self-taught artist who has expressed her creative side since early childhood through a variety of media. “My photographs are my inspiration and impetus for my art. Sometimes realistic and occasionally abstract. My inner joy comes from enhancing what I see, and the process of creating itself.”
Catherine Burgard is a seventh-generation Californian and her family has been on the Central Coast since the 1840s. An avid amateur photographer her entire life, she has recently started placing her photographs on wrapped canvases. The closeness she feels with nature comes through in her display of five canvases focusing on irises.
The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
