Jean Rouff dies at 91
–Jean Rouff, a long time Kingsburg and Paso Robles resident, passed away on Oct. 13, 2015 in Fresno, at the age of 91.

She was born to Scottish immigrants who settled in Indiana and moved to California after graduating from Indiana University. She taught at Miramante, Clay, and in Kingsburg at Lincoln, where she met her now deceased husband Dave Rouff, and finally as a math and science teacher at Roosevelt school. After retirement from public school, she taught five more years at Our Lady of Victory in Fresno. She was also very involved in the Episcopal Church in Reedley, participating in the choir, vestry and as a reader.
After concluding her teaching career, she and her husband Dave moved to Fresno, then Paso Robles where they became docents in the Atascadero Zoo and remained active in the Episcopal Church.
Rouff is preceded in death by her brother William, her daughter Betsy and her husband Dave. She is survived by her sister Mary, 97, and Sons Mike, Pat, Dave, Chris and Jeff. A memorial service will be held at the Holy Family Episcopal Church at 1135 East Alluvial in Fresno on November 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to HART in Cambria at www.slohart.org would be appreciated.
