Joel Platter receives Firefighter of the Year award 

–Firefighter Joel Platter was selected as Firefighter of the Year this year for the many contributions he has made to the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services.

Platter played an instrumental role in designing the Emergency Operations 101 Workshop, is an active member of the North County Technical Rescue Team, and participates in the regional Training Advisory Group.

He has been a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Department of Emergency Services since 2007 and resides in Paso Robles with his wife Alison and their three kids.
