Jordan Marie Conkline dies at 28
–Our beloved Jordan Marie Conklin, 28, left this earth too soon on Oct. 13, 2017 in a tragic car accident in Santa Barbara.
Jordan was born in February of 1988 in San Luis Obispo. She was very proud to be a 5th generation Cambrian and also of her father’s Native American heritage. She was a standout athlete in both volleyball and basketball, graduating from Coast Union High School in 2007.
Jordan became a Certified Nursing Assistant and loved her 8 years working at Danish Care Convalescent home. She had a real love for and felt it was a gift to work with the elderly patients. She also enjoyed her recent work at the Atascadero “Big Lots” store and working with her sisters in recovery. One couldn’t find a more compassionate and giving friend.
Jordan’s most extraordinary gift was the love and nurturing she gave to her beautiful children, Jayden and Faith Bramon, who survive her. Also mourning the sudden loss of Jordan are: her father, Craig Conklin; her mother and step father, Gina and Tim McAlpine; sister and brother, Lauren and Wesley McAlpine; Aunts, Tami Righetti, Barbara Keely and Candace Navarette; grandmother, Susan Warren and the children’s father, Joseph Bramon. She leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, recovery friends and all the other lives she touched with her quick smile and generous heart.
