Josephine Johnson plays at D’Anbino Jan. 22
Johnson will be on tour January 21 through February 4
–On Jan 22, Songwriters At Play will be hosting Indie post-folk artist Josephine Johnson at D’Anbino Winery.
Johnson’s sound is described as, “Janis Joplin meets Iris Dement meets Norah Jones…Josephine’s dynamic delivery packs a rich wallop of straight up soul and tickles with airy, feather-light vocals.” Johnson is touring California to promote her new album, “Let it All Out.”

Currently, Josephine Johnson is the 2016 Musician in Residence at the Westhaven Center for the Arts , Westhaven, California, where she’s writing her next recording project about barns of Humboldt County, California. She divides her time among touring, Los Angeles, and Humboldt, her current recording project is a collaboration between her NorCal and LA production teams.
Songwriters At Play concerts are held twice-monthly on Fridays at D’Anbino Cellars, located at 710 Pine St., Paso Robles.
