Judas Priest delivers classic heavy metal at Vina Robles
– Judas Priest kicked off the first show of the last leg of their world tour at Vina Robles Amphitheatere on Friday night. They took to the stage to deliver their classic heavy metal sound. From the moment the show began, a stream of edgy metal and rock pulsed from the stage. Playing well known hits, such as “Hell Bent for Leather,” while also performing material that has not been performed in many years.
An intense light show helped catapult the feel of metal throughout the crowd. The guitars led the way with crunchy tones and wailing solos, laying the foundation for high pitched and intense vocals to ring out into the night. Even after 40 years of heavy metal singing the singer, Rob Halford, can still hit all his trademarked, “high screams.” Judas Priest had a solid night overall, performing flawlessly, as the true metal professionals they are.
