Program funding has exceeded $2.5 million since its launch in 2013

    – Justin Vineyards & Winery has awarded more than $350,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations and educators across North San Luis Obispo County through its 2026 Community Grants program.

More than $300,000 will be distributed to local nonprofit organizations to strengthen services related to mental health, sports and recreation, healthcare access, and youth enrichment. An additional $50,000 will be awarded through classroom grants to help teachers purchase supplies, musical instruments, books, and enrichment materials that support student-centered learning.

Since its inception in 2013, the Justin Community Grants program has directed more than $2.5 million in funding to local nonprofit organizations and classrooms.

“We are committed to supporting the people and organizations that make Paso Robles stronger,” said Molly Scott, senior director of grower and community relations at Justin Vineyards & Winery. “Through our Community Grants program, we target investments where it can make the most difference, and we’re particularly proud to support organizations and educators expanding opportunity and delivering essential community resources that help this region thrive.”

Funding from this year’s program will support a variety of community initiatives.

The Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health will increase access to parent education and early mental health intervention at two North County schools. Community Counseling Center of San Luis Obispo County will expand on-campus mental health services to connect more students with care and support.

The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District will expand access to after-school basketball clinics to foster mentorship, confidence, and healthy lifestyles for local students. The Templeton Recreation Department will improve park safety and accessibility through Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant water bottle filling stations, providing access to drinking water for residents.

Adventist Health Central Coast Foundation will broaden access to bilingual maternal health education and advanced prenatal care for underserved families.

“Our goal is to ensure every student has the opportunity to participate, regardless of their circumstances,” said Brad Pawlowski, assistant superintendent of Paso Robles Joint Unified School District. “With support from the Justin Community Grants program, we’re able to remove financial and geographic barriers and expand access to high-quality sports clinics that foster both physical growth and personal development.”

Recipients of the 2026 Justin Community Grants program include Adelaida Historic Foundation, Adventist Health Central Coast Foundation, Applause Children’s Theater, Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Community Counseling Center of San Luis Obispo County, Estrella Warbird Museum, Paso Robles Joint Unified School District, SLO Noor Foundation, Templeton Recreation Department, Templeton Recreation Foundation, and Tolosa Children’s Dental Center.

A committee of Justin employees selects grant recipients after reviewing applications for local projects that provide tangible benefits to the greater Paso Robles community. Applications for the program open annually in January.

Another case of the Wonderful Company still trying to buy “goodwill” in the Paso community for their past (and ongoing) digressions! June 2016 they were caught illegally clear cutting 375 acres of oak woodland that to this day, still sets barren. They tried to “donate” it but even the Land Conservancy of SLO County wanted nothing to do with it. Try as they must, we will not forget what a horrible and greedy company the Resnicks own!
