Kayla Peach Memorial Foundation receives donation

KPMF
–Mark McConnell and Liz Lee, owners of Heart to Heart Real Estate presented two checks totaling $8,375.00 to the Kayla Peach Memorial Foundation of Paso Robles last month. Terry Culton, Kathleen Dugan and Field Gibson designated the Kayla Peach Memorial Foundation as the beneficiary through their association with Heart to Heart Real Estate.

The Kayla Peach Memorial Foundation, a family addiction awareness coalition and educational service, is thankful to receive the donations. “These funds will help promote our current in school programs, Reality Tour and REALL Simulation further throughout our communities and County,” the foundation said in a statement.

Reality Tour is a Walk through the life of a drug addict and REALL is a drop out program walking youth through poor choices of life showing them the adverse effects in life when they make poor choices in comparison to making wise educated choices in many areas like graduating High School, having children, being an addict/offender and unable to make an income to offer for the necessities ofi life.

This leads them to be arrested, evicted and gain the real gut feeling of frustration versus the feeling of success of good choices. These types of hands of programs have been very eye-opening many of the youth believe. KPMF provides Town Hall screening of prevention films with guest speakers for free as well as scholarships for graduating seniors and more.

Heart to Heart Real Estate utilizes funds generated by a real estate transaction to affect positive change through community partnerships. At the close of escrow, Heart to Heart will disperse 50-percent of the commission to fund the nonprofit or charitable organizations designated by their clients; making it possible for any individual who otherwise would not have the means, to give to a nonprofit, charity, or individuals in need.

Heart to Heart’s guiding principle of giving through a real estate transaction applies to buyers, sellers and referrals from anywhere in the United States. According to Mark McConnell, “Our business involves transactions; many of which are based on the circumstances of daily life: re-location, divorce, taxes, death or simply the desire to make a change. If a transaction is going to happen, either by necessity or choice, would people choose our company based on our core belief that we all “gain by giving?” The idea for Heart to Heart was born; creating philanthropy in the housing market.
