Kennedy Club Fitness donates $1,500 to American Heart Association
Kennedy Club Fitness presented the American Heart Association a check for $1,500 at the recent annual SLO Heart Walk at held at Avila Beach. Kennedy sponsors included the Tribune, Charter Media and Coast 101FM. Kennedy has gyms in Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande.
The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. These diseases, the nation’s No.1 and No.4 killers, claim more than 813,804 American lives a year.
The local chapter raised almost $120,000 at the fundraiser, according to its website.
