Kennedy Club Members raise $1000 for hunger awareness

–Kennedy Club Fitness held a spotlight class in each of their four locations during the month of May to raise awareness – and funds—for SLO County Food Bank’s Hunger Awareness Day.

Kennedy members danced, stretched, powered and more to raise $1,000. Says Debra Leonard Albert, Marketing Manager, ‘Our members are very generous and enthusiastic supporters of our community. When you hear the statistic that one in six people are hungry in our county, and 40-percent are children, 20-percent are seniors, then it’s up to all of us to pitch in and help because 100-percent are living here as our neighbors. We appreciate the work the Food Bank does for our community and were honored to be invited to help.”

Kennedy Club Fitness has four locations in San Luis Obispo County: Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande.
