Kiwanis Club makes donation to RISE
–Kiwanis Clubs from Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Atascadero and Los Osos banded together to donate over 30 bags of cleaning and hygiene supplies to RISE, a local women’s shelter and domestic violence prevention organization.
“The work done by RISE is essential to the betterment of children’s lives, and that is the purpose of Kiwanis” said Norm Cone, Kiwanis Lt. Governor. “The most vulnerable and at risk people in our community can come to RISE and not only find shelter, but to begin building better lives for themselves and their families. RISE fills an important role in our community and the overwhelming support our local Kiwanians have given them is truly a reflection of their outstanding reputation. RISE is an invaluable asset to our community,” Cone says.
