–Kiwanis Clubs from across the central coast (Paso Robles, Atascadero, SLO, Bay Osos, Grover Beach) and the City of Paso Robles are partnering to clean up the Salinas River Walk and trails in Paso Robles on April 6 from 8 a.m. to Noon. They are asking the public to join them in this community project.

Cleaning out litter and debris along the river walk will help prevent problems in the riverbed and downstream. They will also make minor repairs to benches and tables where they can.

Help them plan by sending an email with how many people you plan to bring to info@pasokiwanis.org and put “Riverwalk” in the subject line. Also, sign in between 8 and 10 a.m. at Larry Moore Park in the River Bank neighborhood. There is plenty of additional parking a short walk away at the Kohl’s / Walmart shopping center on Niblick Road.

They will clean the trails from Larry Moore Park up to the 13th Street Bridge. The city will provide bags and collection bins. Please come prepared. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and bring sturdy gloves and sunscreen.
