Lainey Wilson to perform at California Mid-State Fair

– The California Mid-State Fair has announced that Lainey Wilson will perform July 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chumash Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center. Colton Dawson will open the show.
Tickets go on sale April 3 at 10 a.m. Prices are $70, $100, $140, and $185. Tickets are available online only through the fair’s website, which links to the official ticketing provider.
Wilson recently released her song “Can’t Sit Still,” which reflects her current schedule. She made her film debut in an adaptation of “Reminders of Him” and plans to headline Stagecoach and join Chris Stapleton for stadium shows this summer. She recently completed her Whirlwind World Tour.
A documentary, “Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool,” will be released April 22 after premiering at SXSW. Last year, Wilson hosted the 59th CMA Awards and released a deluxe version of her album “Whirlwind,” which includes the single “Somewhere Over Laredo.”
Wilson has received multiple awards and has recorded nine No. 1 songs, including “4x4xU,” “Watermelon Moonshine,” and “Heart Like A Truck.” She has also collaborated with artists including Jelly Roll and Hardy. She has worked with Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, and Post Malone, and appeared in the television series “Yellowstone.” She has also released collections with Wrangler, along with her own boot and jewelry lines.
Dawson is a country singer-songwriter from Arizona who is based in Tennessee. He has performed in Nashville, including an opening set for Clay Walker at the Ryman Auditorium. He is recording his debut album.
The California Mid-State Fair will run from July 15 through July 26.
