Lane closure on US 101 near Cuesta Grade in effect 

Closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. for a rockfall fence project

– The No. 3 (right) lane of southbound US 101 will be closed for one mile near Old Stage Coach Road from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12. The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. for a rockfall fence project.

Caltrans is constructing a fence over the hillside to prevent rocks from falling onto the roadway. Travelers are asked to drive carefully in this work zone.
