Lavender Festival returns to Paso Robles July 12 

Hundreds of booths, food, music & free admission for all to annual event

The Paso Robles Downtown City Park will be turned into a purple delight at the 6th Annual Paso Robles Lavender Festival on July 12.

The Paso Robles Main Street Association and the Central Coast Lavender Growers Association extends an invitation to locals and visitors alike to the 6th Annual Lavender Festival on Saturday, July 12. This annual summer celebration of the lavender season’s will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Downtown Paso Robles City Park.

Lavender farmers and growers will share their techniques for cultivating, drying and using lavender as visitors experience the perfume and beauty of this captivating herb. Dozens of varieties will be on display and available for samples and purchase. Free seminars on distilling lavender, benefits of lavender and demonstrations will be offered throughout the day in the City Park Gazebo.

Come out and enjoy the July sunshine, sweet lavender treats in the Lavender Garden, and the aromatic abundance of essential oils. More than 100 booths featuring arts, crafts, lavender, food, music, a special children’s activities area and more will be featured.

Accompanying the Lavender Festival is an informal juried arts show, plus a variety of food and festival vendors.  Admission to the day’s events is free; parking is available throughout downtown for free as well.

“The festival has grown beyond our expectations and is a fun way to celebrate this miracle plant,” says Lila Avery-Fuson, event chairperson and owner of Central Coast Lavender Farm.
