    Learn all about service dogs at Paso Robles City Library event 

    Event to cover laws, training, and roles of service dogs

    – The Paso Robles City Library will partner with SLO Service Dog Awareness to host an in-person presentation on service dogs Aug. 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

    The event is intended for business owners, individuals considering acquiring a service dog, and others who want to understand the role of service dogs in society. Presenter John Crippen will be assisted by his service dog, Ranger.

    Crippen will discuss what a service dog is and is not, where service dogs are allowed to go, the difference between service, therapy and emotional support dogs, the training required for service dogs, and how someone qualifies for and acquires one.
