Lego Lab invites children to build and learn
– The City of Paso Robles will offer a four-week Lego engineering class in February at the Centennial Acorn Room. Courtney Doyle will teach the class.
The Lego Lab will run from Feb. 4 through Feb. 25 and meet Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. The class is open to youth participants and focuses on science and engineering activities.
Each one-hour session will introduce engineering concepts through storytelling, building challenges, and guided Lego construction. Students will work on structured projects and also have time to build independently.
The program emphasizes problem-solving, spatial reasoning, fine motor development, and teamwork through hands-on activities using Lego materials.
A $10 sibling registration discount is available for families who enroll multiple children at the same time.
An after-school option is available before the class begins. Paso Robles Recreation Services offers a free, non-custodial after-school program at the Centennial Park gym for students in kindergarten and older.
A March session will also be offered.
