Letter: Assembly candidate has weak understanding of the issues

To the editor,Letter to the editor

Assembly candidate Dawn Ortiz-Legg has done an awful job of laying out her record and qualifications. Her weak understanding of the issues compels her to fabricate a narrative regarding her opponent, which has been pulled from TV stations for being misleading and untrue. She obviously misses the whole point of a constitutional right to representation regardless of charges.

The only qualifications Dawn has attempted to lay out for voters is her ability to bringing jobs to the county through being an independent contractor for a solar company. She doesn’t point out that most of those jobs in California Valley were temporary and most of those hired did not live in our county. She also doesn’t want voters to know that First Solar has a terrible environmental reputation. Ortiz-Legg is in this race because of support from the establishment State Democratic Party. She is not supported by locals who know her and know the facts and know we need an advocate in Sacramento not a rubber stamp.
