Letter: Bearcats baseball team seeks donations

To whom It may concern,

My name is Jonathon Thornhill and I am the Varsity Head Coach for Paso Robles High School’s baseball team. Our organization is looking for ways to generate funds so that we can get a new scoreboard for our baseball field.

We have a facility in which I recognize it as the best baseball field from San Miguel to Santa Ynez at the high school level. Time and time again coaches have come from out of the area to play here and love playing at our facility. I truly believe we are a new scoreboard away from our facility being considered a college level type facility. Our young athletes take pride in making sure the field is in great shape for their upcoming season by raking leaves, picking rocks out of the grass, dragging the field, etc. We would like to not only reward the athletes but those who come out and support our athletes by upgrading the scoreboard from a light bulb feature to an LED feature.

Should you choose to make a donation, no matter the amount, it would greatly be appreciated. Based on the amount donated, we thanking you could range from your name on the scoreboard, baseball attire, hats, season pass to home games, a banner or something else we could discuss. Nonetheless, any donation is greatly appreciated.

Thank You
Coach Thornhill
