Letter: Beware of the proposed ‘1-percent’ tax 

To the editor,

Paso Robles voters beware of the requested Sales Tax increase that is being requested by the City of Paso Robles. The City claims the suggested one-cent increase is a 1% increase of the existing tax. However, in fact, it is a 13% increase of the existing 7.75% rate.
