Letter: City more focused on money than citizens
To the editor,
Very good letter. It seems that the city government / system does not represent the citizens of Paso: Catering to tourists with little concern for residents, changing concerts in the part from Friday nights to Thursday nights to please businesses downtown, more bike lanes with narrower roads for tourists not locals, and short term rentals in neighborhoods. The short term rentals are not only businesses in neighborhoods but they take away housing that could be for local workers or families. The city seems more focused on money, with less interest for quality of life for Paso Robles citizens.
