Letter: Distressed to see the state of homelessness in Paso Robles

Letter to the editor paso robles daily newsTo the editor,

I’ve just returned home after a delightful two-week visit to Paso Robles, visiting restaurants, wineries, going to the movie theater and seeing friends and family.

I was distressed to see so many apparently homeless people draped around the lovely central park and, can you believe, around the playground where families were enjoying being together and young children were using the terrific facilities you have there. Some of these people were clearly under the influence of some drug or other, and made for a rather grubby environment.

I actually saw police vehicles driving around the park, but nothing was being done. The good people of Paso Robles deserve better than this.
