Letter: Motives should be to protect neighborhoods not profit from them
To the editor,
–Thank you Mr. Pinder. Your letter is a great description of the concerns of neighbors in residential zones. Our motives are to protect the integrity of our neighborhoods and not profit from them. What happened to the “it takes a village” concept? Is this “shared economy” concept going to trump the cooperation we have been trying to promote? Shared economy is the in word for making profit pure and simple. We’re not going to build that village by infecting neighborhoods with profit motive endeavors. Thanks again Mr. Pinder for stating our feelings so precisely.
